Brand Style Guide | 2020
2024 Paris Olympic Style Guide.
The Olympics are the most-watched and lucrative television event there is. They have a global, multi-lingual audience of all ages. While live viewership has fallen off in recent years, more viewers are now watching on streaming devices, so overall is the highest it’s ever been. Branding the Olympics broadcast (tv, online, mobile) and designing all of the diverse applications it requires is one of the most challenging and widest-reaching motion design projects.
I developed a broadcast package for the 2024 Paris Olympic, beginning with logo development. Based on the shapes of the Louvre Pyramid and the number 2024, a logo combines a signature attraction of Paris and an official year of Paris summer Olympic. The design emphasizes sporty, dynamic, and contemporary vibes through the bold lines which are stretched to various directions. Cropped logos are used as different versions of backgrounds.
